The goal was to create a modern style of Adirondack chair that maintains the traditional look and feel. This chair was the result of many hours of design and incorporates subtle features, such as half-lap joinery and clean angles, to create a chair that is not only unique but also comfortable and extremely sturdy.
The beautiful grain pattern of premium sapele creates in a unique piece of hand-built furniture that is truly stunning and will last for decades. This wood is weather and bug resistant and will turn a silvery-gray over time if left untreated. Finished with marine-grade oil by TotalBoat in Bristol, RI. All hardware is solid stainless steel.
